Hello:

This is an advance notice for a conference on American politics at MIT this
fall.

Please join us on Friday September 24, 2010 for a one-day conference on new
research in American Politics. Details (and another announcement) will
follow later this summer, but please let me know if you are interested in
attending. Papers will be presented by the following scholars:

Brandon Bartels, George Washington University, "Uniter and Divider? The
Solicitor General as a Constraining and Polarizing Force in the U.S. Supreme
Court."

John Bullock, Yale University, "Partisan Bias in Responses to Factual
Questions about Politics."

Ryan Enos, Harvard University, "The persistence of Racial Threat: evidence
from the 2008 election."

Amy Lerman, Princeton University, "Black Voter, Black Candidate: Evaluating
Race and Skin Tone Bias."

Matt Levendusky, University of Pennsylvania, "Do the Partisan Media
Polarize?"

Hope you can make it!

Adam
