Ohio Wesleyan University seeks applicants for a *three-year term position
(with the possibility of conversion to tenure-track) *in data analytics,
beginning August 15, 2020. OWU’s interdisciplinary data analytics program
is new to the university and combines core courses in mathematics,
statistics, and computer science with courses in a cognate subject (e.g.,
economics, business, political science, or physics). The successful
candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching core courses in
data analytics and, depending on experience and departmental needs, may
also have the opportunity to teach in cognate departments. More information

educational grounding in quantitative analysis, interest in working with
undergraduate students, and the capacity to develop a vibrant and rigorous
data analytics program. A *PhD* in Applied Statistics, Data Science, or *one
of the related fields (mathematics, computer science, economics, political
science, physics, etc.*) is required (completed or with expected completion
by August 2020).
