Hi Folks,
The Society for Political Methodology would like to announce a Call for
Proposals to Host the 2008 Summer Methods meeting. This is a great
event and I encourage you to consider offering to host. I should note
that the Methods Section voted at its last business meeting to expand
the conference to accommodate what has been a growing demand to
participate.
Details are available on the Methods web page under the Conferences
link: http://polmeth.wustl.edu/conferences.php
The direct link to the PDF file of the Call is:
http://polmeth.wustl.edu/conferences/methods2008/2008conference_cfp.pdf
IMPORTANT DATES:
Friday, Nov. 3rd -- a letter of interest is due
Friday, Jan. 12th -- a Full proposal is due
If you have any questions, please contact me ([log in to unmask]) or any of
the site selection committee members (listed in the Call). We are all
current or recent hosts of this meeting, so we should be able to answer
your questions. This really is a wonderful conference and I think
hosting the Summer Meeting is well worth the effort.
Best,
Tom
