Call For Papers, Methodology Section 2006 MPSA Annual Conference
While it seems odd to start thinking about the MPSA immediately
after returning from the APSA, the deadline is not exactly far away:
October 10, 2005. The Proposal Submission Form can be found at the
URL: http://www.indiana.edu/~mpsa/proposal/proposal2006.html. Here
is the official verbiage for methods panels in 2006:
This year we are especially interested in methodological papers
that highlight areas where political science has made distinctive
contributions rather than just imported techniques. A central
focus is on political methodology as a well-developed and
productive field in its own right. Papers that feature
contributions in statistical and mathematical computing are
highly encouraged. We particularly welcome full panel proposals
around these or any other relevant themes that fit into the
sub-discipline.
Feel free to informally run any panel or paper ideas by me
via email ([log in to unmask]) if you have questions. Thanks,
-Jeff
