Hi,

For those of you who plan to attend MPSA this year, I want to alert
you to a relatively new section that is accepting submissions until
December 2nd. The “Working Groups” section provides a space for 10 to
25 participants to meet and discuss a common topic of interest. The
topics last year included “The Imperial Presidency and the
Constitution”, “Global Warming Policy and Governance”, and “Survey
Methods in Developing Countries”. These meetings generally occur over
lunch or following the final panel of the day so that they do not
conflict with panels. A coordinator needs to submit a title,
description, and participant list by December 2nd, so please start
organizing now if you are interested in submitting a proposal. Feel
free to email me at [log in to unmask] if you have any questions.

Best,
Marc Meredith
Assistant Professor of Political Science
University of Pennsylvania
