Assistant or Associate Professor.  The Department of Political Science and the Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences (CSSS) at the University of Washington invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor or early Associate Professor with expertise in building and analyzing large datasets. Applicants must demonstrate strong theoretical and substantive political science research interests for which the specific subfield is open.  

The successful candidate will hold a full-time position in Political Science and ideally will be suitable for an adjunct position in Statistics.  University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.  Teaching responsibilities will include political science courses along with interdisciplinary graduate level courses in statistics and machine learning methods.  Experience in teaching in the online environment will be an asset.  Candidates should have their Ph.D. prior to the appointment start date or be ABD.
