The University of Notre Dame is setting up a Center for Social Research and
is looking to hire a data management consultant, a statistical consultant,
and a survey research consultant. The jobs are non-tenure track, but should
afford time to work on your own research and be fairly permanent. I'll post
the job descriptions below, but more information can be found at
https://jobs.nd.edu (this is the portal to apply as well, sorry there is no
direct link to the job ads). Click "search postings" and search on "csr".
The search is genuinely open (no inside candidates and no field preferences)
and we're looking to hire as many highly qualified people as possible.

I may be able to answer some of the questions regarding the positions.

While I am at it, the political science department has two two tenure track
lines this year in American ("institutions" or "behavior with an emphasis on
Latino politics") and in international relations (open to area of focus).
I'd encourage any interested parties to apply to those as well. The job
descriptions should be up on ejobs at the APSA website.

David
