Hi,

I have a question regarding a method and test for comparing predictive power.

Specifically, it is quite common to have one sample of data and see
which of two models better predict that sample (LR test, F-test, etc).

However, my situtation is a little different. I have a single model
and would like to see which of two samples is best explained by that
model. Are there standard procedures and tests for determining if the
predictive power of this standard model is statistically different
across the samples?

Many thanks in advance,
