I have an immediate opening in Washington DC for a full-time, entry-level
analyst/researcher/assistant to work exclusively on an expanded version of the
MysteryPollster blog site (_www.mysterypollster.com_
(http://www.mysterypollster.com/) ). Applicants need to have good writing and proofreading skills,
strong attention to detail and, ideally, a junkie's obsession with political
polling. Previous experience in survey research, statistical analysis or web
site development or administration is a strong plus but not a requirement.
MysteryPollster (www.mysterypollster.com) is a web log providing a daily
running commentary that aims to explain, demystify and critique political
polling. Since September 2004, MysteryPollster has attracted over one million
unique visits, won praise as a “Hot Site” by USAToday, “the hottest polling site
on the Web” by Newsday, and led ABC’s The Note to dub Mark Blumenthal a “
superpollster.” The National Council on Public Polls awarded MysteryPollster a
special citation for its work explaining polls to the Internet reader.
If you are interested and would like more details on this unique
opportunity, please email me at [log in to unmask]
(mailto:[log in to unmask]) and attach a cover letter and resume.
Thank you!
Mark Blumenthal
