The Political Science Program in the School of Economic, Political and
Policy Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications
for a tenure-track position in American Government and Politics, with
particular emphasis on research and teaching skills in administrative law,
constitutional law, or judicial process. A successful applicant must
possess the doctoral degree by date of appointment and must be able to
publish in the major professional journals or presses and capable of
attracting research support. In addition to teaching in the undergraduate
and graduate (M.A. and Ph.D.) Political Science programs, the successful
applicant will contribute to the newly created Master's degree program in
Constitutional Law Studies. Requests for additional information should be
addressed to Robert Lowry, Political Science Program Head, email
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask] or phone
(972)883-6720.

Applications should include a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and
three letters of reference sent to Academic Search #30008, The University of
Texas at Dallas, 800 W. Campbell Road, AD 42, Richardson, TX 75080-3021.
Indication of sex and ethnicity is requested as part of the application but
not required. UTD is an AA/EO employer and strongly encourages applications
from candidates who would enhance the diversity of the university's faculty
and administration. Review of applications will begin October 15, 2008 and
will continue until the position is filled.
