Hi,
There also exists a more permanent solution.
Put @PREAMBLE{ {\providecommand{\noopsort}[1]{}} } at the beginning at
your *.bib file.
For the entries that are affected you then include them in your *.bib
file as:
@ARTICLE{Palfrey84,
author = {{\noopsort{Thomas}}{Palfrey, Thomas R.}},
title = {Spatial Equilibrium with Entry},
journal = {Review of Economic Studies},
year = {1984},
volume = {51},
pages = {139-156},}
if for some reason you wanted the bibliography listed by first names.
Note that whereas normally you would put {Thomas R. Palfrey} in you
*.bib file you need to put the last name first if you want it to appear
that way.
Best,
Indridi
