The 6th IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics (DSAA 2019) is the flagship annual meeting that spans the interdisciplinary fields of Data Science and Advanced Analytics. It provides a premier forum that brings together researchers, industry and government practitioners, as well as developers and users of big data solutions for exchange of ideas on the latest theoretical developments in Data Science and on the best practices for a wide range of applications.

  * 61 technical paper presentations and 10 late breaking posters.
  *  3 keynote speakers: Cynthia Rudin (Duke University), Kyle Cranmer (New York University), and Cesar Hidalgo (MIT).
  *  2 special sessions: "Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Biomedical Health Data" and "Data and Information Quality: Toward Better Data Science".
  *  5 tutorials:

         --Learning from non-stationary data streams
         --Opportunities, Challenges and Methods for Higher Education Data Mining
         --Modeling Direct and Indirect Effects using Hierarchical Bayesian Models

  * This year's Trends and Controversy Panel has experts from philosophy to computer science to law debating and discussing data ethics.
  * The first day of the conference focuses on projects related to Societal Scale Impacts of Data Science. It will include invited speakers and a special panel on Approaches for Engaging Students in Data Science for the Social Good.
