Hello all,
I'm running Tobit analyses and I have questions regarding adjusting the coefficients for interpretation. Specifically, I'm interested in how I get the information I need from STATA and use it to make the various adjustments.
1. Coefficients for the latent dependent variable
2. Coefficients for the probability of not being censored
3. Coefficients on those cases not censored.
I've read that there are post-estimation commands in STATA that make this relatively easy, but I can't figure out how to use the resulting variables and the information they provide.
Ultimately, I will use the adjusted coefficients to calculate expected values given critical values of some of the independent variables.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Stacy Gordon
