The department of political science at Rice University invites
applications for a tenure-track position in Comparative Politics at the
assistant professor or associate professor level.  Regional
specialization is open, although in concert with university-wide
initiatives at Rice there is particular interest in candidates whose
research focuses on Asia or Latin America.  Preference will be given to
candidates with a substantive focus on comparative institutions and
whose research employs advanced data analysis and/or formal models.
