The School of Applied Social Studies invites applications for a Lectureship in
Sociology to contribute to the Social Science and Corporate Social
Responsibility teaching programmes and research culture. We encourage
applications from specialists in any area of Sociology but would particularly
welcome candidates in the area of sociology of economics, work and/or risk.

Applicants should have an Honours degree in Sociology and also have a PhD (or be
very close to completing a PhD) in Sociology or a closely related subject.

Candidates should have refereed publications or clearly identified potential to
publish and an ability to teach on a range of sociology modules.
