Durham University's School of Government and International Affairs (SGIA) seeks to hire an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Comparative Politics with a specialisation in Public Policy/Public Administration, starting (ideally) in September 2023. We are open with regard to substantive and geographical focus within the broad fields of Comparative Politics and Public Policy/Public Administration, emphasising the excellence of research above all and the use of rigorous methods to address rigorous approaches to address important political questions. The successful candidate will join colleagues in the Centre of Institutions and Political Behaviour (CIPB) (https://www.durham.ac.uk/research/institutes-and-centres/institutions-political-behaviour/), which provides a collegial, stimulating, and supportive environment for developing and refining research projects and outputs, networking with colleagues within and beyond Durham, and pump-priming financial support.
