We have extended the deadline for section award nominations. If you have presented, seen, written, or read a great network project in the past year, we hope you will nominate and/or self-nominate!
Nomination details and deadlines follow:
JOHN SPRAGUE AWARD – New nomination deadline April 15, 2022
This award, issued by the Political Networks Section of APSA, is given annually to the best paper on political networks presented by a graduate student delivered at a political science conference in the previous year. The award includes a cash prize.
We encourage you to submit your nominations (including self-nominations) and spread this call broadly throughout your networks! In all cases, nominations should be submitted to committee members directly via email.

Political Ties Award (best published article) – New nominations deadline April 15, 2022
The APSA organized section on Political Networks is seeking nominations for the Political Ties Award. This award is given annually to the best article published on the subject of political networks. Nominees must have been published — either online or in print — in a peer-reviewed journal between January 1st and December 31st of 2021.
