We are happy to announce EuroWEPS V. EuroWEPS brings together political scientists across Europe to carefully engage with research that seeks to draw causal inferences. EuroWEPS is a read-in-advance workshop: all participants are expected to read all papers. We then engage in 45 minutes of an in-depth discussion of each paper in an inclusive, constructive atmosphere.

EuroWEPS V will be held in-person in Berlin on Friday, June 3 2022. Our host institution for this round is Hertie School, which has also graciously provided travel funding of up to 200 Euros per person and will also provide accommodation.

Applications with papers, research designs, or pre-analysis plans should be submitted by May 5, 2022 via email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Women, minorities, and 1st generation academics are especially encouraged to apply. We will notify successful applicants by May 10. Researchers who present should be based in the Central European Time zone +/- 4 hours.

EuroWEPS Organizers:

Jens Olav Dahlgaard (Copenhagen Business School)

Florian Foos (London School of Economics and Political Science)

Anselm Hager (Humboldt University Berlin)

Alexandra Scacco (WZB Berlin Social Science Center)

EuroWEPS V hosts:

Simon Munzert (Hertie School)

Ruth Ditlmann (Hertie School)
