*Assistant Professor position*

 Nationalism and Politics

 *Nationalism Studies Program / Department of Political Science*

The Nationalism Studies Program and Department of Political Science at
Central European University invite applications for a full-time position in
Nationalism and Politics at the rank of assistant professor to begin in
August 2018. The candidate will be expected to teach courses related to
Global Migration; Minority Protection; Federalism; Comparative Politics;
and Methodology of Comparative Social Research. Candidates with a specific
focus on the contemporary accommodation of ethnic, racial and linguistic
diversity (e.g. consociationalism, federalism) are encouraged to apply.
Preference will be given to candidates engaged in comparative research,
focusing on both European and non-European regions. The candidate should
have a proven track record in publishing on these topics, preferably in
political science journals.
