Dear Colleagues,

Helen Milner, Lori Bougher, and I would like to draw your attention to a
new addition to the World Economics and Politics (WEP) Dataverse–
directed-dyad-year data. While the original WEP dataverse offers over 900
country-year variables, including both institutional and
economic characteristics of states, our new offerings capture flows and
relationships between states, including treaties, trade volumes, investment
flows, and migration.

The data are available for download via an interface that allows scholars
to select countries, variables, and years, downloading a custom dataset
that includes variables from dozens of different sources.

https://ncgg.princeton.edu/wep/dataverse.html

This project is a joint collaboration between the Niehaus Center for
Globalization and Governance at Princeton University and the Security and
Political Economy (SPEC) Lab at the University of Southern California.

Both the country-year and directed-dyad-year portions of the WEP Dataverse
will continue to be updated and expanded annually. If you would like your
dataset to be added to the WEP Dataverse, please email Benjamin Graham.

Users of the WEP Dataverse can cite to:

Political Economy Data Resource." Review of International Organizations,

All users of data from this resource should also cite to the original
source of each variable used, which are provided in our codebook.

Warm regards,
Helen Milner
