The Department of Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis seeks candidates for two positions at the Assistant or Associate professor level in the area of American politics to begin Fall 2020 or later.



Duties include research and publication, course teaching, student advising, and department and university service.Diversity and inclusion are core values at Washington University in St. Louis, and the strong candidate will demonstrate the ability to create inclusive classrooms and environments in which a diverse array of students can learn and thrive.



A Ph.D. in Political Science or a closely related field is required at the assistant or associate level. In addition, candidates at the associate professor rank must, through research and publication, have made a significant contribution to one or more subfields in Political Science.



This position is in the Department of Political Science.  The position is located at Seigle Hall.  This position is for the Danforth Campus in the School of Arts & Sciences.



This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week.
