The College of Arts and Letters at Stevens Institute of Technology is
seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track appointment as Assistant
Professor of Computational Social Science in the Humanities and Social
Sciences program. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Sociology, Psychology,
Anthropology, Political Science, or related field, with an
interdisciplinary research profile that includes computational approaches
to studying social phenomena.

Preferred candidates will use computational modeling or data science-based
methods to address research questions in the social sciences, although
research areas are open. Example areas of interest are social networks,
agent-based modeling and simulations, social computing, big data analytics,
machine learning, and large-scale experiments involving human subjects.
Successful candidates should be able to teach introductory courses in their
discipline, methods course in data analysis and computational methods for
social science research, and upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses
in their area(s) of research.
