*2015 ICPSR Scholarships*
The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research offers
several fee-waiver scholarships to support graduate students and pre-tenure
scholars who want to participate in the Summer Program's four-week sessions

The scholarships are targeted toward specific substantive fields and
academic disciplines. The deadline for all 2015 ICPSR scholarships is April
30, 2015. Scholarships of interest to members of this listserv include:

   - *Clifford C. Clogg Scholarship

for
   advanced graduate students in political science and sociology
   - *Warren E. Miller Scholarship
   <http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/content/sumprog/scholarships/miller.html>:*
for
   pre-tenure scholars, assistant professors, and senior graduate students
   conducting research on electoral/political behavior
   - *Scholarship for Public Administration, Public Policy, and Public
   Affairs

for
   advanced graduate students in public administration or related fields


*Additional Scholarships *
Several external organizations provide fee waivers and scholarships to
support attendance in the Summer Program. Eligibility criteria and
application protocols are set by these non-ICPSR organizations; please
contact them for more information.


   - *Janet Box-Steffensmeier* and *John A. Garcia Scholarships* are
   awarded by the Society for Political Methodology to encourage women and
   underrepresented graduate students in political science to attend the ICPSR
   Summer Program. The Box-Steffensmeier Scholarship is a waiver of Program
   Scholar fees to attend one or both of the four-week sessions. The
   scholarship is awarded to up to three women graduate students in Ph.D.
   programs. The Garcia Award is a waiver of Program Scholar fees to attend
   one or both of the four-week sessions. The scholarship is awarded to up to
   three underrepresented graduate students in Ph.D. programs. Applicants for
   either scholarship should visit the Society for Political Methodology
   website <http://polmeth.wustl.edu/scholarship.php>. The application
   deadline is April 15, 2015.
   - The *NBGSA Founders Fellowship for Quantitative Methods* is provided
   by the National Black Graduate Student Association (NBGSA)
   <http://www.nbgsa.org/> and is intended to encourage black graduate
   students and faculty to attend the ICPSR Summer Program in order to advance
   their quantitative skills. The Founders Fellowship is a waiver of
   registration fees to attend one or both of the four-week sessions. To be
   eligible, applicants must be a current member of the NBGSA.
   - The *Hanes Walton, Jr. Award for Quantitative Methods Training* is
   awarded by the National Conference of Black Political Scientists
   <http://www.ncobps.org/> and provides a waiver of registration fees for
   one or both of the four-week sessions. The Hanes Walton, Jr. Award is
   intended to encourage attendance in the ICPSR Summer Program by faculty and
   graduate students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities
   (HBCUs), as well as women and minority graduate students and faculty at
   other institutions. The application deadline is April 15, 2015.
