I wanted to bring the following conference to the attention of the Polmeth listserv. We invite anyone interested to attend the conference, which is next Friday, March 27 from 8:30am to 5:15pm at USC Law School.

The Southern California Law and Social Science Forum (SoCLASS) is pleased to announce its third annual forum: Regulation, Law and Social Science, an event that is open to any interested attendees. Over 40 scholars will present and discuss 27 research papers examining timely questions of regulation, empirical legal studies, public policy making, legal and political institutions, immigration policy, administration, and questions at the nexus of politics, law, and regulation. Cary Coglianese, the Edward P. Shils Professor of Law and Political Science at University of Pennsylvania, will deliver a keynote address. The conference co-organizers are Abby Wood (Gould School of Law) and Christian Grose (Dornsife/Political Science).

The full conference program is available here: https://dornsife.usc.edu/events/site/741/915689/regulation-law-and-social-science

If you are interested in attending, please email [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask]

Sincerely,

Christian Grose and Abby Wood.
