I wish to bring your attention to the following Assistant Professor rank tenure-stream faculty position opening in Public Budgeting and Finance in the Department of Public Administration and Policy at the University of Georgia. We are especially interested in applicants with active research and teaching interests in the areas of taxation/revenue administration, public finance, and public sector investment (e.g., pensions, capital projects, debt financing, etc...) that possess strong quantitative and analytical skills (i.e, statistical methods and applied microeconomics). The Department of Public Administration and Policy in the University of Georgia’s School of Public
& International Affairs invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in
public budgeting and/or finance. This position requires a teaching and research focus within any
of the following areas: public budgeting, financial management/administration, and/or public
finance. Successful candidates should demonstrate a dedication to research, teaching, and student
mentorship as well as an ability to contribute to the current strengths of our MPA and Ph.D.
programs. Candidates with interest in advancing grantmanship (collaboratively or individually) to
support research in these areas are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should have an
earned Ph.D. in public administration or a related field by August 2018. For more information about
