The NYU Center for Data Science is inviting applicants for its inaugural

their Ph.D. in a data science related field with strong applications in
social science. Appointments are initially for three years with an
expectations of a renewal for a third year. Salary and benefits are
competitive. Anticipated start date is Sept. 1, 2014.

Applicants should send a curricul vitae, list of publication, a brief (no
longer than 4 page) statement of research interestst to
[log in to unmask] and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent
by Jan. 6, 2014.

The Center's web site is http://cds.nyu.edu.

I am happy to answer any questions (or pass them on to those who actually
might be able to answer them). I can be reached at [log in to unmask]

Thanks

Neal
