Hello,

Anyone using these data should look at time series of them for each state.
You'll see abrupt breaks in the series when they started to ask if people
were of two or more races, three or more races, etc.  It doesn't matter how
you define race (any black versus all black, etc.) after the change, the
break will be there.  Someone has to figure out how to deal with this if it
hasn't already been done.
