Vanderbilt is searching for multiple tenure-track positions in Comparative Politics and International Relations.  We are searching for more than one Assistant Professor in Comparative Politics, one Associate or Full Professor of Comparative Politics, and more than one Assistant Professor in International Relations. Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics
The Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University invites applications from outstanding political scientists with a specialization in comparative politics, for at least one tenure track appointment as Assistant Professor. We have a wide range of interests that include expertise in institutions, political economy, behavior, and/or race/ethnic politics. To enhance its growing scholarly reputation, the Department encourages applications from the best possible candidates, especially those who can contribute to its focus on substantively important political issues. The appointment will begin Fall 2015. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. The Committee will begin reviewing files as early as September 1, 2014. To assure full consideration, complete applications should be received by September 15, 2014, but earlier applications are welcomed and interviews or campus lectures may be scheduled at any time. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Among the qualifications required for hire is the Ph.D. in hand or expected by Fall 2015.

Associate or Full Professor of Comparative Politics
The Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University invites applications from outstanding political scientists with a specialization in comparative politics for appointment as Associate or Full Professor. We are interested in candidates with expertise in public opinion, political behavior, and/or elections. Candidates may focus on any region of the world. Candidates with first-hand experience in carrying out survey research and an interest in contributing to the leadership of an innovative and broad-ranging survey research institute will be especially attractive. To enhance its growing scholarly reputation, the Department encourages applications from the best possible candidates, especially those who can contribute to its focus on substantively important political issues and who have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Assistant Professor of International Relations
The Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University invites applications from outstanding political scientists with a specialization in International Relations for two tenure-track appointments as Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach core classes in international conflict or cooperation. Candidates must possess strong theoretical and empirical skills and can ideally be able to assist in teaching quantitative methods or formal theory. Priority will be given to interesting research that builds synergies within the department. To enhance its growing scholarly reputation, the Department encourages applications from the best possible candidates. The appointment will begin Fall 2015.
