We are searching for more than one Assistant Professor in Comparative Politics, one Associate or Full Professor of Comparative Politics, and more than one Assistant Professor in International Relations. Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics
The Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University invites applications from outstanding political scientists with a specialization in comparative politics, for at least one tenure track appointment as Assistant Professor. We have a wide range of interests that include expertise in institutions, political economy, behavior, and/or race/ethnic politics. To enhance its growing scholarly reputation, the Department encourages applications from the best possible candidates, especially those who can contribute to its focus on substantively important political issues. Candidates with first-hand experience in carrying out survey research and an interest in contributing to the leadership of an innovative and broad-ranging survey research institute will be especially attractive. Assistant Professor of International Relations
The Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University invites applications from outstanding political scientists with a specialization in International Relations for two tenure-track appointments as Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach core classes in international conflict or cooperation. Candidates must possess strong theoretical and empirical skills and can ideally be able to assist in teaching quantitative methods or formal theory. Priority will be given to interesting research that builds synergies within the department.
