The Department of Political Science invites applications for a position in Comparative Politics, beginning August 2012. This appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, in a probationary position leading to a tenure decision. Minimum qualifications are: a Ph.D. in Political Science, Government, or related field by August 2012, and a research specialization in Comparative Politics. Preferred qualifications include: demonstrated excellence in conducting substantively and theoretically significant research in comparative politics; demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in comparative politics; strong methodological expertise; international experience; and capacity to add to the intellectual breadth of the department.
