Center for Applied Statistics, Quantitative Methods Lecturer
Non-tenure track
The Center for Applied Statistics at Washington University in St. Louis
invites applications for a part-time lecturer (non-tenure track) position in
quantitative methods: statistics applied to the social sciences. The
position begins with the start of the Fall 2009 semester, August 26, and
continues for one year with an additional year by mutual agreement. The
expected teaching load is two courses per semester, but this can be
negotiated up or down with compensation consequences. Coursework is focused
on teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in: general social science
statistics, and one area of relevent expertise.
The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Political Science, Sociology,
or Psychology with a focus on quantitave methods. Applicants must also
evidence commitment to teaching.

will begin January 19, 2009 and will continue until the position is filled.
