Department of Political Science, Dr. Wartyna L. Davis, Chairperson.

Political Science. Assistant Professor. To teach American politics and
public policy in undergraduate program and master's program in Public
Policy and International Affairs.  PhD in Political Science is required
at time of appointment. The position is open to all areas of
specialization in domestic policy and administration.  Preference will
be given to candidates able to teach courses in American Institutions
(particularly the Presidency and Congress) and courses in public policy
and public administration at the undergraduate and graduate levels,
including in an anticipated new interdisciplinary program in Legal
Studies.  Additional preference will be given to candidates able to
teach research methods.  Candidates must demonstrate an excellent
teaching record, have an active scholarly agenda, and be willing to
contribute through service to the university community.  Please send
letter of application, CV, three letters of reference, teaching
portfolio, transcript and writing sample.

 

Political Science. Assistant Professor. To teach Latin American politics
with preferred specialization in comparative politics of Latin America
and the Caribbean; U.S.-Latin American Relations; Latina/o politics;
migration and human rights; or economic development and integration,
including possible off-site teaching. Candidate will teach in the
undergraduate program and the Master's Program in Public Policy and
International Affairs.  PhD in Political Science is preferred at time of
appointment. Candidates must demonstrate an excellent teaching record,
have an active scholarly agenda, and be willing to contribute through
service to the university community.  Please send letter of application,
