The Society for Political Methodology will award its 3rd Political
Methodology Career Award at the 2009 APSA meeting, to recognize an
outstanding career of intellectual accomplishment and service to the
profession in the Political Methodology field. Chris Achen and John
Jackson were the first and second award winners. The award committee --
Nancy Burns (chair), Jan Box-Steffensmeier, Jake Bowers, John Jackson,
and Tse-min Lin -- is calling for nominations, due no later than
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Nominations may be sent to me
([log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> ). We would love a
brief statement in support of the nominee to draw upon in our
deliberations.

Thanks, very much!

Nancy
