Hello all,

I'm looking for a dataset of parliamentary election results for the UK for
roughly the period 1950-1975 that includes the names of the candidates.

I've seen data with results of constituency races (Dorling 1993, Carmani
2000, Latham 1982, Curtice and Steed 1983), and I've seen data with
candidate names for 1983-1997 (Boothroyd). FWS Craig's books (British
Parliamentary Election Results) have the names and results back into the
19th century, but I haven't seen this in machine readable form.

Anyone have any ideas?
