If there is interest in organizing a short course for the Political
Methodology Section at APSA 2007, please contact me. The call for
such proposals from APSA is below.

Thanks, Jan

Dear Organized Section Officer,

I hope that you're making plans to attend the 2007 Annual Meeting in
Chicago! Held from August 30-September 2, this year's meeting will
feature over 700 organized panels; however, I invite you to also take
part in our pre-conference professional development day on Wednesday,
August 29th. Each year, APSA hosts Short Courses on the Wednesday
prior to the opening of the Annual Meeting. Short Courses are half
or full-day sessions that provide opportunities for APSA attendees to
enhance their professional knowledge and reinvigorate teaching and
research skills.

Last year, we hosted more than 20 Short Courses ranging in topics
from Assessment to Field Research. If you would like to develop a
Short Course for the 2007 Annual Meeting, there is still space
available! Deadline: March 15, 2007. To find out more information
about the Short Courses or to get information, please visit our the
APSA's <http://www.apsanet.org/content_4650.cfm>Short Course
Website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me
at 202-483-2512 or <mailto:[log in to unmask]>[log in to unmask] I
look forward to working with you and I'll see you in Chicago!

Best Regards,

Lauren
