Given the difficulty that I suspect most of us have in hiring skilled
programmers on campus, I was wondering whether anyone had experience
out-sourcing such work to any of the many firms and individuals who
claim to be able to do this via the internet. I'm specifically interested
in C++, perl and Java; less so in web development.

To avoid this listserv becoming an advertising forum, please respond to me
directly and if I get any useful guidance, I'll post a summary at a later
date.

Thanks.
